Mission
The mission of our library media program is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of information from varying traditional and technological resources.

The 'Book Fair Blizzard' was a cool treat for the students at Central Park from November 6-16, 2007. Thank you to all of the students and parents for making the fair a success this year.

The annual Scholastic Book Fair was held from November 7-17, 2006 in the Library.

Letter to Parents:

The joy of Reading is having the ability to read. A child cannot read successfully if he or she doesn't learn to read. Reading for pleasure is a stepping stone toward learning to read and it also increases the enjoyment of reading. Encourage your child to read by permitting him or her to check out Library Books.

Below you will find our Library Policies and Permission Form. Please sign and return it to the Library.
Central Park School Library Circulation Policy:
1. Students may check out Library Books for a one week period.
2. Students who fail to return books on the due date will not be permitted to check out another book until the over due books have been returned. Notices will be sent home.
3. Students are not to write, draw, or tear the pages in library books.
4. Parents will be charged the price of a book if the students loses or damages a book beyond repair.
5. Students are to return library books on their class library day.
