Operation School Bell® is the national philanthropic project of National Assistance League.  Research has found that children with a good self-image stay in school. By providing schoolchildren with new clothing, Operation School Bell contributes to their self-confidence and encourages a positive attitude toward school.  Through fundraising, corporate donations and other contributions, members of Assistance League purchase, fit and distribute new clothing, hygiene kits and books to school children in need referred by area school counselors.
